Compare Candidates’ morals to God’s morals
“As we look at all the candidates who are asking for our vote in 2008, we must not only be aware of their past voting record if they have previously held an elected office, as important as that is, but we must be sure we know what they believe. A favorite line from liberals and secularists is, “Well, it really doesn’t matter what they believe or what they do in their private life.” You will recall that that was the mantra we heard following Bill Clinton’s extra curricular activities.
…people of faith should compare the candidate’s voting records and their personal beliefs to the core Biblical beliefs that most all people of faith embrace.
Noah Webster, the father of our public education system, said, ‘If the citizens neglect their duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government will soon be corrupted.’” ~ Gary Randall, President of Faith & Freedom Network
Couldn’t have said it better myself. : ) I always strive to keep God in the center of my presidential race discussions, because that’s what really matters.
Old news: Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee have officially dropped out of the race. Ron Paul is still in the race with 21 delegates nationwide and no states. Do you think McCain would consider Huckabee for a Vice…? Here are some Vice possibilities. A great resource on the presidential race is http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/.
