Aug. 21 primary election recommendations

My family did not receive ballots for the primary this Aug. because there is nothing for us to vote on until the general election, so if you didn’t receive one either, they didn’t forget you.

Bremerton City Council: Trent England (www.trentengland.com) Worked with him last summer, thoughtful, deep thinker, a lawyer, has what it takes for this job, gets the big picture and long term effects of things.  Totally capable and I highly recommend him.

Port Orchard Mayor: Lary Coppola (www.electlary.com) Although he did say that politics and religion should be separate, I believe, out of the others, he would be the best choice as mayor.

  1. Thanks for the reminder! 🙂

    We didn’t get a ballot either . . . 😦 Do you know why?

  2. Yes, it’s because nothing is being voted on in the region that you live for the primary. We live outside of Port Orchard, so we couldn’t vote for the mayor, because his jurisdiction is only in the city, therefore we can’t vote for him. There may be stuff in the general in November though.
