Primary Election Results

Here is the link to the Kitsap County Aug. 21 Primary Election Results:

http://www.kitsapgov.com/aud/elections/archive/07/Cum0807/Election%20Result.htm Only 33% voted.  Only 10, 581 out of 32,032 voters voted.

Lary Coppola was voted for mayor, but Trent England was unfortunately beaten by Roy Runyon.

Something I always remind myself after elections is: God knows what’s best, even if it’s hard for us to take or understand.

  1. That is really sad that not many people voted . . . do you know if the majority of Christians voted?

It’s too bad that Trent England lost! Yes, you are right. We have to trust that God knows what is best. (but it’s hard sometimes!)

    Thanks for the update,

    Amy

  2. The majority was probably not Christian because many have given up or not participated. I hope we can change this in the future, because, if this continues, Christians may end up not being represented in our government if we don’t participate in it by voting in Chrisitians.

  3. I was never notified about the primary election so I did not vote. I had no idea we were voting!!

I think though, that God is in control of all politics and He will lead our nation even when some people don’t vote!

Thank you Betsy for the continued updates!

  4. I don’t think you received a ballot, just like us… or did you? At least you can vote in the General Election in November!
